This mod allows you to handcuff and un-handcuff civilians in your missions without using the ACE menu instead using a customized hotkey!
This enables you to quickly arrest civilians for any style of mission instead of taking the time to look at a civilians hands and arrest them using the default ACE menu.
Although ACE itself provides a hotkey for taking a civilian prisoner, this mod adds both the feature of handcuffing and un-handcuffing via hotkey. I will also be adding some more features to this mod in the future.
Installation Guide
- Subscribe to the mod.
- Subscribe and enable CBA_A3 as well as ACE (this is required for the mod to work).
- Start a mission or scenario. The mod works automatically in single-player.
- Setup your hotkeys by going into Settings, Controls, Configure Addons and locate Mason’s Arrest System.
- Once your hotkeys are configured, you can approach any civilian and use your hotkey to handcuff and un-handcuff!
Future Updates
These are some of the future updates that are currently in development for this mod!
- Create a function when arresting to place the civilian in the prone position. This would be attached to a separate keybind.
- Create a function to escort civilians after arrest.
- Create a function to field search after arrest for any weapons.
